 25% SAVINGS ON ELECTRICITY BILL

 25% SAVINGS ON ELECTRICITY BILL

After a year of succesfull testing on Motor Energy Controllers at Gelati Granola's premisses in Xewkija Industrial Estate Gozo,

we achieved 25% savings from the usual electricity consumption.

These savings amount to 8,000 Euro.

Technical Presentation

MOTOR ENERGY CONTROLLERS
Dr. Jonathan Hughes & Mr. Martin Hollis
(on behalf of Calleja Formosa Energy Saving)

The subject of the talk will be on how to save energy. Introduction on the following items are going to take place in the first part of the session. These are motor energy controls, soft starts, digital voltage regulators, digital power regulators, air compressor energy management systems, air conditioning energy controls and finally the power factor correction systems. A detailed description will be focused on Motor Energy Controllers (MEC) which will be rounded up with a discussion and a full demonstration of this equipment. Finally the scope of such meeting is to show the benefits of saving between 15% and 40% of electricity costs by using MEC without any loss of power or detriment to the motor. The MEC system can be applicable to hotel and catering, retail, hospitals, industrial and food storage, manufacturing, offices, and general industrial drives.
